Ballydehob

Set in an idyllic rural scene and snuggled in the embrace of the sheltering Mount Gabriel, Ballydehob derives its name from the Irish ‘Béal Atha Dá Chab’, or mouth of the two rivers. The Modern Ballydehob, a place of beauty and peace, was founded in 1600s, and in times gone by, was a thriving mining town.

This small village boasts a dozen pubs and eateries, and some shops.
